About the Couple
Adriana Marie Events shared with Wedding Chicks her inspiration for the event. She said the adventurous couple met overseas in Spain – their personal backgrounds and love story were the foundation for the wedding design.
Stefanie and Michael’s wedding day was a true depiction of their mix of cultures, heritage, love for color and personal style. Michael coming from Moroccan and Jewish background, and Stefanie from Greek we aimed to incorporate their love for pattern and family into every aspect of their wedding day.
Stefanie and Michael’s wedding ceremony was held on the Polynesian Lawn, overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. No detail was too small for Adriana Marie, who leaned into the couple’s upscale bohemian style bringing in accents like a ceremony processional door sourced directly from India, hand strung floral detailing, and handmade macrame accents. The wedding florals were created by Crimson & Clover Floral Design, adding bold pops of color and sumptuous texture that carried into the wedding reception.
Adriana Marie and her vendor team transformed the Paradise Ballroom into a bohemian dream with Moroccan style accents and Mediterranean themed details throughout. The jewel tone color palette and gold accents gave the tented space a warm and vibrant feel while the delicate details kept things romantic.
