Herrington on the Bay's employees have been certified and trained in a number of food and beverage courses offered by the Restaurant Association of Maryland Education Foundation. All of our serving staff and culinary team have attended Smart Staff Food Safety Training in which they are trained on proper food handling and service. The Event Coordinators and Chefs have a ServSafe Certification for successfully completing the standards set forth for the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Examination which is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Conference for Food Protection (CFP). Our Event Coordinators, Chefs, Bartenders and Senior Servers earned Maryland’s BEST Responsible Alcohol Service Certification by being trained on the legalities and liability of safe alcohol service.
