Southern Maryland Wedding Guide
Misty and Richard Moore of Annapolis celebrated their wedding at Herrington on the Bay and they were the winners of the Southern Maryland Wedding Guide's Summer/Fall 2007 photo contest. Their picture graced the cover of the magazine's July 2007 issue. The winning photograph was taken by ACS Photography located in Mechanicsville.

The Capital, Annapolis, MD Local Businesses Tout Eco-Efforts to Lure Dollars. May 18, 2010. "At both Herrington Harbour Marina locations in south county, there has been a concerted effort to green things up. Herrington Harbor bills itself as an "eco-lifestyle resort."
"I definitely think it's becoming more and more important to people as they become educated," said Anna Willman, who runs the Herrington on the Bay catering and wedding venue.
Herrington on the Bay recently earned certification from a national group called the Green Restaurant Association for practices such as buying local food, choosing organic products and even using recycled paper in the office."
